Unlocker is an extremely useful utility that allows you to remove file locks on files and directories. In the past I've downloaded and installed this program without incident, it appears to be the latest release (1.8.7) which is problematic. The problem with this version is that it installs a program called eBayShortcut.exe. The installer even gives you the option to deselect this but unfortunately it gets installed anyways. What makes it worse is that it is not uninstalled correctly by the installer which is a big problem. I've done some research on this with the help of a security expert at my current client and we found this website with lots of good information on the issue.
