I recently purchased a brand-new HP laptop during a back-to-school sale event at my local big box electronics store. After a week, I've finally become accustomed to the laptop and immediately realized that it has a lot of pre-loaded software programs/utilities from the manufacturer and other 3rd parties that I don't think I will use. Is there a magic button that I can use to turn off or remove all these programs to prevent them from loading and clutter my desktop? I basically only want to keep Windows 10, the programs I need for home and work, and my antivirus installed. However I'm a bit hesitant to delete these programs, especially the HP ones, not knowing if my system itself depends on them or not. My question to you is, is it safe to delete these type of programs or is it better to leave them be? Thank you for your advice.
