Eds File For Powerflex 700
Managing DeviceNet EDS Files for the PowerFlex 700 Vector Control. Commissioning the PowerFlex 700 node, and configuring drive parameters. Individuals who need to configure PowerFlex 700 vector control drives to communicate on a DeviceNet network should attend this course. Provide an EDS file to allow the Allen-Bradley Devicenet programming software to address the drive. The inverter shall follow the setting of a local control when in the. Allen-Bradley Powerflex 700, or equal. Panel size is based on Allen-Bradley drives. CONTRACTOR shall make all necessary modifications required for other drives.

Powerflex 755 Eds File
These will be found under DOCs and Programs tab for each product.
Step 1. Download the Hardy EDS file either from the CD that came with your instrument or get the latest file from the Hardy Process Solutions Web site. Put the Hardy EDS file in a location where you can find it. DO NOT PUT THE EDS FILE IN THE EDS FOLDER!
Step 2. Start up RSNetWorx or RS Logix.
Step 3. Click on the Tools pull down menu.
Step 4. Click on EDS Hardward Installation tool. The EDS Wizard dialog box appears.
Step 5. Click on Next. The EDS Options dialog box appears.
Step 6. Click on Next. The Registration dialog box appears.
Step 7. Click on the Browse button. The Select EDS file dialog box appears. Go to the folder that contains the Hardy EDS file.

Step 8. Click on the Hardy EDS file to highlight it. Click on Open.
Step 9. The Registration dialog box reappears with the path to the Hardy EDS file in the text field.
Step 10. Click on Next. The EDS File Installation Test Results dialog box appears.
Step 11. Click on Next. The Change Graphic Image dialog box appears. The user can change the Icon if desired.
Step 12. Click on Next. The Final Task Summary dialog box appears.
Step 13. Click on Next. You should now have a message indicating a successfully completed EDS Wizard.

Step 14. Click on Finish.
The EDS file installation is complete.
